One of the world’s largest food suppliers creates sauces and flavors for food and beverage service brands. It recognized an opportunity to create a branded line to supplement its private label business.
We assisted in the research, innovation and brand development process to uncover market gaps in five Southeast Asian countries to assess market opportunity and inspire a new portfolio of culinary products.
Our deliverable was the identification of a platform for this new brand and a strong recommendation for a positioning that was ultimately taken forward by our client. This work was complemented by valuable insight on global ingredient trends along with competitive intelligence. Once ideas were implemented into a MVP by our client’s R&D and culinary development team, we ran testing among influential chefs in restaurant kitchens in Manila to gain valuable real-world feedback that was later iterated into the final product.
